Meeting Notes That Assign Work
Turns a call transcript into owned, dated actions
by Sofia Lindqvist
What it does
Reads a meeting transcript and produces the decisions, the actions, who owns each one and when it is due. Actions without an owner are flagged rather than assigned to whoever spoke last.
Posts into the channel and opens the tickets. The summary is short on purpose — a wall of notes nobody reads is the problem it exists to solve.
Ideal use cases
- Recurring planning and standup calls
- Distributed teams where the decision record matters
Where not to use it
- Confidential conversations you would not put in a ticket
- Calls where nothing is decided
The problem it solves
Everyone leaves the call agreeing, and a week later nobody can say who owned the thing that did not happen.
